How the times are calculated
All times come from astronomy: each city's sunrise, sunset and the Moon's position. We do not copy data from other panchang websites. Read more: What is Choghadiya, What is a tithi, Panchak and Vinchhudo.
Festival dates go on the site only after they have been checked by hand.
Free and simple
The site is free. There is no login, no pop-up and nothing to download. Ads may appear in future to cover costs; they will never sit between the main timings.
